A. Installation of the Water Separator 3302MM
(1)
Remove the blanking cap from the waste tank (4).
(2)
Install the new packing (3) in the waste tank (4).
(3)
Install the basic separator (5) in the waste tank (4).
(4)
Install the filter housing assembly (7).
(5)
Install the V-clamp (6) and TORQUE to between 0.39 and 0.48 m.daN
(34.51 and 42.47 lbf.in).
(6)
Install the sleeve (2).
(7) Install the clamps (1) and tighten. Subtask 38-31-67-790-051
B. Leak Test
(1)
Do the leak test of the vacuum toilet system (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-790-002).
(2)
Record the result of the test.
(3)
Compare the result of the test before the removal and after the installation.
NOTE : The difference between the tests must not be more than 10% of

the result made before the removal.

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the access panel 162DW
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002). Subtask 38-31-67-862-050
B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
