C. Disinfection of the Toilet System
(1) Drain the toilet system (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-680-001).
(2) Put 2. l (0.5283 USgal) of DISINFECTANTS (Material No. 14-001A) in each toilet bowl and flush them through.
NOTE : This procedure is to make sure that the complete toilet system____ is disinfected.

D. Access to the water separator.
(1) Get access
(a) Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Remove the access panel 162DW.

E. Removal of the Water Separator 3302MM
(1) Remove the water separator 3302MM from the waste holding tank (Ref. TASK 38-31-67-000-001).
(2) Disinfect the water separator with DISINFECTANTS (Material No. 14-008).
(3) Removal of the Filter Element
(a)
Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(b)
Remove the cover (3).
(c)
Discard the O-ring (4).
(d)
Remove the filter element (5).
4. Procedure

A. Servicing of the Water separator
(1)
Clean and inspect the filter housing assembly.
(a)
Disinfect the filter element (5) and the filter housing (6) with DISINFECTANTS (Material No. 14-008).
(b)
Clean the filter element (5) and the filter housing (6) with a solution of soap and hot water and a BRUSH - BRISTLED, STIFF.
(c)
Inspect the filter element and the filter housing (6) for good condition.
(d)
If necessary replace the filter element (5).
(2)
Clean and inspect the basic separator.
(a)
Disinfect the basic separator (7) with DISINFECTANTS (Material No. 14-008).
(b)
Clean the basic separator (7) with a solution of soap and hot water and a BRUSH - BRISTLED, STIFF.
(c)
Inspect the basic separator (7) for good condition.
(d)
If necessary replace the basic separator (7).
