R  4_  discard the O-ring (4).
R  (c) Clean all parts with a solution of soap, DISINFECTANTS (Material
 No. 14-008), hot water and a BRUSH - BRISTLED, STIFF. 
R  (d) If damage is present, do a repair or replace the damage component
 (Ref. CMM 383411). 
R  (3) Inspect the inside of the waste holding tank for waste build up and 
R  damage. 
R  (4) If there is waste build up, clean the waste holding tank (Ref. TASK
 38-31-00-100-003). 
R  (5) If damage is present, do a repair (Ref. CMM 383411). 
R  (6) Install the Rinse Assembly (9) if removed.
 (Ref. Fig. 601/TASK 38-31-61-991-003)
 (a) Put the new O-ring (4) in position.
 (b) If necessary put new teflon washers (5) in position.
 (c) Install the nozzle (6) and secure it with a new retaining ring
 (7). 
R  (d) Put the rinse assembly (9) in position on the tank (8) and 
R  install the washers (2) and the nuts (1). 
R  (7) TORQUE the nuts (1) to 0.1 m.daN (9 lbf.in). 
R  (8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other
 items.

 

R  (9) Put the new O-ring (12) in position on the tank (8). 
R  (10) Put the cover (11) in position and install the screws (10). 
R  (11) TORQUE the screws (10) to 0.15 m.daN (13 lbf.in). 
R  (12) Lock the screws (10) with BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-007B).

 (2) Record the result of the test.
 (3) Compare the result of the test before the removal and after the installation.
 NOTE : The differance between the tests must not be more than 10% of____ the result made before the removal.

 (1) Remove the warning notice(s).
 (2) Do the operational test of the vacuum toilet system (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-710-009)
 (3) If necessary do the functional test of the liquid level sensor and transmitter (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-720-002).

 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 Install the access panel 162DW.

 (3)
 Remove the access platform(s).

 (4)
 Set the AFT CARGO-COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU on the service panel 2024VU to the OFF position.
