4. Procedure

Subtask 38-31-13-420-050
A. Installation of the Waste Service-Panel Door-Switch 44MG
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Put the switch (2) in position.
(4)
Install the nut (4) and the washer (3).
R (5) Safety the nut (4) with stainless steel lockwire MISCELLANEOUS R (Material No. 19-009).
(6)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(7)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(8)
Connect the electrical connector 44MG-A (1).
(9) Remove the warning notice(s).

(1)
Do the operational test of the door limit switch 44MG (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-710-008).
(2)
If necessary adjust the door limit switch 44MG (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-820-001).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the access door 162DW.
(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT light-switch 8LU on the service panel to the OFF position.
(4)
Close the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5)
Close the waste service-panel door 171AR. NOTE : Make sure that the latches are correctly locked and that the
____ door makes a continuous surface with the skin of the aircraft.
(6) Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 38-31-13-862-050
B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).

C. Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
