(a) Clean the Drain Lines of the Beverage Maker, Coffee Maker, Combi-Brewer or Water Boiler/Heater
1_ Slowly fill the sink of the galley equipment which is
installed in the FWD and AFT galley with the mixture until it
is full.
2 Make sure that the mixture does not fill the washbasin in the
_ FWD or AFT lavatory.
3 Let the mixture stay in the system for 1 hour.
_ 4 After 1 hour open the shutoff valves of the drain hose
_ assemblies and drain the system.
5 Flush the wastewater lines with 5 l (1.3208 USgal) of clean
_ water.
(b) Clean the Drain Lines of the Galley Sink 1 Slowly fill the sink of the FWD and AFT galley with the
_ mixture until it is full.
2 Make sure that the mixture does not fill the washbasin in the
_ FWD or AFT lavatory.
3 Let the mixture stay in the system for 1 hour.
_ 4 After 1 hour open the shutoff valve of the drain hose
_ assemblies and drain the system.
5 Flush the wastewater lines with 5 l (1.3208 USgal) of clean
_ water.

If necessary, remove the drain hose assemblies from the drain masts.

In the Lavatories

Make sure that the shutoff valve on the drain hose assemblies is closed.
(a)
Slowly fill the washbasin of the FWD and AFT lavatories with the mixture until it is full.
(b)
Let the mixture stay in the system for 1 hour.

(c) After 1 hour open the shutoff valves of the drain hose assemblies
and drain the system.
(9) Flush the wastewater lines with 5 l (1.3208 USgal) of clean water.
(10) Remove the drain hose assemblies from the drain masts.

R YOU DO THIS TASK.
R (1) Disconnect the drain hose of the cargo loading at the drain mast 4DU
R and 24DU.
R (a) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
R (2) Put the small hose end of the drain hose assembly in drain line of
R each drain mast.
R NOTE : You must make sure that all connections of the waste water____
R system are tightened. If the connections are loose liquid will
R flow into the lower fuselage.
R You must make sure that the hose end of the drain hose
R assembly is installed in the drain mast. If the hose end is
R installed over the drain mast, the liquid will flow back into
R the lower fuselage.
R (3) Put the end of the hose assemblies in a container.
R (4) Close the shutoff valve on the drain hose assemblies.
R (5) Make a solution of 5% vinegar and water (1 l (0.2641 USgal) of
R vinegar with 19 l (5.0192 USgal) of water).
