Operate the air compressed source and blow the lines through with 0.4 Bar (6.0psi) from the inlet line at the drain valve in the direction of the sink.

If necessary clean the waste water drain lines with vinegar (Ref. TASK 38-32-00-100-001).

Put the inlet hose (1) in position on the valve (3) and install the clamp (2).
(2)
Put the outlet hose (4) in position on the valve (3) and install the clamp (2).

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

Open the lavatory door.
(2)
Remove the filter from the waste water-drain assembly
(a)
Remove the stopper (5).
(b)
Remove the strainer plug (1).
(c)
If you cannot remove the strainer plug (1) easily, use two hooks opposite of each other and pull it out.
(d)
Remove the filter (3).
(e)
Remove and discard the O-ring (2).

A. Clean the Filter of the Waste Water-Drain Assembly
(Ref. Fig. 703/TASK 38-32-00-991-002)
WARNING : ALWAYS WEAR RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHES WHEN

YOU DO THIS TASK.
(1)
Put the filter (3) of the waste water drain-assembly in vinegar for approximately 30 min.
(2)
Clean the filter (3) with clean water.
(3)
Use dry compressed air to fully dry the filter.
(4)
Examine the filter for damage, if necessary replace the filter (3).
