 A. Do this test.

 In the lavatory:  In the lavatory:
 - operate the water faucet. - water flows into the washbasin.

 2.
 At the drain mast:  At the drain mast:

 - open the shutoff valve  - water drains from the drain valve. assembly.

 3.
 At the drain mast:

 -close the shutoff valve
 assembly.

 4.
 In the lavatory:

 -push the drain plug in the
 washbasin to close the drain
 valve.

 - operate the water faucet until
 the washbasin is full.

 -mark the water level.
 5. In the lavatory:  In the lavatory:
 -examine the water level after 5  - the water level in the washbasin has min. not changed.
 6. In the lavatory:  In the lavatory:
 -pull the drain plug to open the  - water drains from the washbasin. drain valve and let some water - the drain lines are filled. drain away.
 7. In the lavatory:  In the lavatory:
 -mark the new water level.
