R  1_  Slowly fill the sink of the FWD and AFT galley with the
R  mixture until it is full. 
R  2_  Make sure that the mixture does not fill the washbasin in the
R  FWD or AFT lavatory. 
R  3_  Let the mixture stay in the system for 1 hour.
R  4_  After 1 hour open the shutoff valve of the drain hose
R  assemblies and drain the system. 
R  5_  Flush the wastewater lines with 5 l (1.3208 USgal) of clean
R  water. 
R  (7) If necessary, remove the drain hose assemblies from the drain masts. 
R  (8) In the Lavatories 
R  (9) Make sure that the shutoff valve on the drain hose assemblies is 
R  closed. 
R  (a) Slowly fill the washbasin of the FWD and AFT lavatories with the 
R  mixture until it is full. 
R  (b) Let the mixture stay in the system for 1 hour.

R R  (c) After 1 hour open the shutoff valves of the drain hose assemblies and drain the system. 
R  (10) Flush the wastewater lines with 5 l (1.3208 USgal) of clean water. 
R  (11) Remove the drain hose assemblies from the drain masts. 
R R  (12) Remove the blanking plugs from the drain lines of the cargo loading system. 
R  (a) Connect the drain hose to the drain mast 4DU and 24DU.

 B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Put a AIR COMPRESSED SOURCE 0.3 TO 0.7 BAR (5 TO 10 PSI) - REGULATED, FILTERED, DRY in position at the drain valve.

 (2)
 Install an applicable adaptor into the drain mast.

 (3) Attached the air source to the adaptor. Subtask 38-32-00-010-055
 C. Get access to the blocked sink.
 (Ref. Fig. 702/TASK 38-32-00-991-003)

 (1)
 Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) under the drain valve.

 (2)
 Loosen the clamps (2) at the inlet hose (1) and outlet hose (4) of the valve (3).

 (3)
 Examine the drain valve for blockage, if the valve is blocked

 (a) If the valve is blocked, clean the valve (Ref. AMM 38320010000300).

 D. Put the warning notices in position in the galley to tell persons not to use the galley.

 A. Clean the Waste Drain Lines
 (1)
 Put a cloth around the drain line to protect the area from unwanted matter that can come out of the line.

 (2)
 Operate the air compressed source and blow the lines through with 0.4 Bar (6.0psi) from the drain mast in the direction of the drain valve.

 (3)
 Put a cloth at the sink to protect the area from unwanted matter that can come out of the sink.
