D. Preparation for the test
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuit (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Energize the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(3)
Make sure that the cockpit door is closed and the engines are not running.
(4)
Push the MAIN OFF membrane switch on the forward attendant panel 120RH.
(5)
Make sure that the integral lights on all BRT, DIM1, DIM2, WDO and CLG membrane switches on the forward attendant panel 120RH are off.

E. Test of the Entrance-, Window- and Ceiling-Lights
(1) Do the operational test.

2. For the window or ceiling lighting: On the forward attendant panel:

push the BRT pushbutton switch.

At the related entrance light position:

the related entrance light comes on.
-
the ENTRY BRT integral light on the related pushbutton comes on.
-
the related entrance light intensitydecreases.
-
the ENTRY DIM 1 integral light on the related pushbutton comes on.
-
the related entrance light intensitydecreases again.
-
the ENTRY DIM 2 integral light on the related pushbutton comes on.
-
the related entrance light goes off.
-
the ENTRY DIM 2 integral light on the related pushbutton goes off.
At the related window or ceiling lightposition:
-
the related window or ceiling light comes on.
-
the BRT integral light on the related pushbutton comes on.
-
the related window or ceiling lightintensity decreases.
-
the DIM 1 integral light on the related pushbutton comes on.

For the ceiling ballast unit and lampholder:
-install the related ceiling panel (Ref. TASK 25-23-41-400-001).

For the window ballast unit and lampholder:
-install the related cove light panel (Ref. TASK 25-23-48-400-001).
(4) Remove the stepladder Subtask 33-21-11-862-050
B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1)
De-energize the CIDS (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-862-001).
(2)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
