A. Removal of the tail navigation light
WARNING : DO NOT REMOVE THE STROBE LIGHT FOR AT LEAST TEN MINUTES AFTER_______ YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. THE HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CURRENT IN THE CAPACITOR OF THE STROBE LIGHT IS DANGEROUS.
(1) Hold the tail navigation light (3).
(2) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
R (3) Remove the tail navigation light (3) from the APU exhaust access-fairing (4) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
R (4) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) and (6) from the tail navigation light (3).
R (5) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
