 4. Procedure
_________ Subtask 33-41-11-020-051-A R A. Removal of the Wingtip Navigation-Light Lamp CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
 CAUTION : DO NOT USE NON APPROVED METAL TOOLS TO REMOVE THE LAMP FROM THE
_______ LAMP HOLDER. THESE METAL TOOLS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LAMP REFLECTOR AND THE LAMP HOLDER.


R  CAUTION : DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE TO THE BULB OR SOCKET CONTACTS. TOO_______ 
R  MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DEFORMATION OF THE SOCKET, AND 
R  AS A RESULT, ARCING AND THUS BULB FAILURE. 
R  NOTE : This procedure is applicable to one and two-lamp wingtip____ 
R  navigation lights. 
R  (1) Release the clips that hold the glass of the navigation light in 
R  position and then remove the glass. 
R  (2) Use a lint-free cloth to carefully remove the lamp from the 
R  navigation light as follows: 
R  (a) Carefully push the bulb vertically up (or down) to release the 
R  lower (or higher) location spigot. 
R  (b) Carefully pull and remove the lamp from the lamp socket. 
R  NOTE : To remove the lamp without damage, you can pull the ends____ 
R  of a piece of string or a cable tie put around the lamp.
