C. Test of the Instrument Lighting, of the Supplementary Reading Lights, of the Map Table Lights and of the Center Pedestal Light

1. On the panel 111VU: - turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position,
- turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.
R R R R 2. On each panel 54VU: - turn the READING LT rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position,
R R R - turn the rheostat in the opposite direction.
3. On the panel 131VU: - turn the rheostat of the Captain main instrument panel light from the OFF to the BRT position,
On the center instrument panel:
-
the lights get brighter until theyare fully bright.
On the Captain and First-Officer instrument-panels:
-
the lights get brighter until they are fully bright,
-
the flood lights get dimmer and thengo off.
On each panel 54VU:
-
the reading light gets brighter until it is fully bright,
-
the reading light gets dimmer and then goes off.
On the Captain main instrument-panel:
-
the flood lights get brighter untilthey are fully bright,

- turn the rheostast from the BRT - the flood lights get dimmer and then
to the OFF position. go off.
4. On the panel 130VU: On the F/O main instrument-panel:
- turn the rheostat of the F/O - the flood lights get brighter until
main they are fully bright,
instrument-panel light from the
OFF to the BRT position,
- turn the rheostat from the BRT - the flood lights get dimmer and then
to the OFF position. go off.
5. On the Captain and the On the Captain and First Officer sides:
First-Officer sides:
- turn the rheostats of the map
table lights,
- set the switches to ON, - the map table lights come on
with a dim intensity,
- turn the rheostast, - the map table lights get brighter
until they are fully bright,
- turn the rheostats in the - the map table lights get dimmer,
opposite direction,
- set the switch to OFF. - the map table light goes off.
6. On the panel 112VU: On the panel 48VU:
- turn the FLOOD LT/PED rheostat - the center pedestal light gets
from the OFF to the BRT brighter until it is fully bright,
position,
- turn the rheostat in the - the center pedestal light gets dimmer
opposite direction. and then goes off.
