Remove the four screws (4) and washers (3) that attach the dome light box.

Put a blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connector (1) and the socket (2).

Remove the dome light box.

C. Removal of the socket
(1)
Remove the bulb (10).
(2)
Remove the two screws (14) and the two screws (5) with their nuts
(15) that attach the plate (6) to the defective socket (9). Hold the plate during the removal.
(3)
Remove the plate (6).
(4)
Remove the screw (12), the washer (13) and the power supply cable (11).
(5)
Remove the nut (7) and the washer (8).
(6)
Remove the defective socket (9).

Make an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

(1)
Install the bulb (10).
(2)
Install the ceiling panel (211CC for the Captain Dome Lights and 212CC for the F/O Dome Lights) with an ALLEN wrench.

C. Installation of the dome light box
(1)
Remove the blanking caps of the disconnected electrical connector (1) and the socket (2).
(2)
Install the dome light box.
(3)
Tighten the four screws (4) and washers (3) that attach the dome light box.

Connect the electrical connector (1) to the socket (2).
(5)
