A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. Subtask 33-12-13-420-053
B. Installation of the Main Instrument-Panel Center-Light
(1)
Install a new bulb (6) in its socket (7).
(2)
Laterally push the contact spring (5) and install the socket (7).
(3)
Install the optical body (4) on its blanking plate (2).
(4)
Attach the optical body (4) with the two fasteners (3).
(5)
Close the blanking plate (2). Hold it in this position.
(6)
Attach the blanking plate (2) with the three fasteners (1). Subtask 33-12-13-865-058
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1LE, 2LE

_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.

A. Removal of the Bulb from the Center Pedestal Light
(1) Remove the lens (1) from the body of the light (3) with a screwdriver.
(2) Remove the bulb (2) from the socket inside the body of the light (3). Subtask 33-12-14-020-053
B. Removal of the Center Pedestal Light
(1)
Loosen the quick-disconnect fasteners (5) from the panel (7).
(2)
Disconnect the female electrical connectors (9) from the male electrical connectors (8) of the center pedestal light (6).
(3)
Remove the circlips (4) from the light (6).
(4)
Remove the light.
