Make sure that the warning notice is on the panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.

Make sure that the access platform is in position below the applicable zone 534 or 634.
(2)
Make sure that the navigation light glazing panel is removed (Ref. TASK 57-37-12-000-001).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).

(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. Subtask 33-41-11-420-051-A
B. Installation of the Lamp in the Wingtip Navigation-Light R CAUTION : USE ONLY APPROVED LAMPS. LAMPS THAT ARE NOT APPROVED CAN CAUSE
_______ R DAMAGE TO THE NAVIGATION-LIGHT TRANSFORMER AND LAMP-HOLDER.
CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
CAUTION : DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE TO THE BULB OR SOCKET CONTACTS. TOO
_______ MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DEFORMATION OF THE SOCKET, AND AS A RESULT, ARCING AND THUS BULB FAILURE.
NOTE : This procedure is applicable for one and two-lamp wingtip

navigation lights.
(1)
Use a lint-free cloth to hold the lamp.
(2)
Put the base of the lamp into the lamp socket. Carefully push the lamp and make sure that the two locating spigots engage the slots of the contact strip.
(3)
Put the glass in position on the navigation light and install the two clips.
