B. Installation of the Service Area Light WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED
_______ BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(2)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Connect and secure the electrical connectors (2) and (3).
(4)
Put the service area light (1) in the correct installation position at the structure (6).
(5) Install the washers (5) and the screws (4) and tighten.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2LJ, 1KD, and 2KD

Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR.
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).

Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(2)
Put the access platform in position in the Zone 312.
(3)
Open the access door 312AR.
(4)
Put the switch 3LJ at Zone 312 in the OFF position.

A. Removal of the Service Area Light and the Lamp
(1)
Removal of the Lamp
(a)
Remove the screws (12), the grid-screen (7), the lens (8) and the seal (9) from the housing (11).
(b)
Remove the lamp (10).
(2)
Removal of the Service Area Light
(a)
Remove the screws (6), the washers (5) and hold the service area light (4) to get access to the electrical connections (1).
(b)
Remove the nuts (3), the washers (2) and the electrical connections (1).
(c)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(d)
Remove the service area light (4).
