A. Installation of the Map Table Light Control Box
(1) Install the Map Table light: NOTE : To make installation easier you can open the window.

(a)
Install the cable (2) through the hole of the support (1) and put the support (11) in position.
(b)
Install the screws (8) and (7).
(c)
Install the cover (9) with the screw (10).
(2) Install the Control-Box: NOTE : To make installation casier you can open the window.

(a)
Connect the female terminal lugs (16) to the male terminal lugs (15).
(b)
Install the cable (2) through the hole of the control box holder (12).
(c)
Install the four washers (13) on the screws (14).
(d)
Tighten the control box holder (12) with the four attaching screws (14) and washers (13).
(e)
Connect the cable (2). NOTE : Respect the colours when you connect the wires.

(f)
Install the cover (4) with the screw (6).
(g)
Install the button of the rheostat (5).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 41LE 5LE FOR 42LE 4LE

3. System Description
__________________ The integral lighting installed on the panels and the instruments has miniature lamps. These lamps are supplied by an alternating current with variable voltage from 0 to 5 volts. Lighting controllers deliver this alternating current. These lighting controllers generate a low voltage current source with high intensity from the 115V - 400Hz voltage. A 470 ohms potentiometer provides the continuous adjustment of the output voltage between 0 and 5 efficient volts. This output voltage is independent from the load. The table below shows the main characteristics and the function of each lighting controller.
