B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure, that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the APU doors.
(2)
Make sure, that the APU access doors are open. WARNING : LOCK THE MECHANISM OF THE ACCESS DOOR 316AR WITH THE PIP
_______ PIN WHEN YOU OPEN THE ACCESS DOOR. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY.
(a) Make sure, that the APU doors 315AL and 316AR are open.
(3) Make sure, that the switch 11LJ at zone 315 is in the OFF position.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the captive screws (3).

B. Installation of the Lamp of the Service Area Light WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED
_______ BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
NOTE : When it is necessary to replace one lamp, it is recommended that

you replace the second lamp at the same time.
(1)
Put the lamp (5) in the light assembly (2) and turn it clockwise to lock the lamp in position.
(2)
Correctly align the cover assembly (4) with the screw holes of the housing (1).
(3) Install the captive screws (3) and tighten. Subtask 33-31-11-865-064
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2LJ, 1KD, 2KD
