B. Installatiom of the Service Area LIght and the Lamp
(1)
Installation of the Lamp
(a)
Install the lamp (10) in the housing (11).
(b)
Install the new seal (9) ,the lens (8) and the grid-screen (7) with the screws (12) on the housing (11).
(2)
Installation of the Service Area Light
(a)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(b)
Hold the service area light (4) and install the electrical connections (1) with the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(c)
Install the service area light (4) with the washers (2) and the screws (6).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (1) and the washers (2).

B. Installation of the Service Area Light WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED
_______ BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(2)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
R (3) Connect and secure the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
R R (4) Put the service area light (3) in the correct installation position at the structure (4).
R (5) Install the washers (2) and the screws (1) and tighten.

(1)
Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU compartment.
(2)
Open the APU access doors. WARNING : LOCK THE MECHANISM OF THE ACCESS DOOR 316AR WITH THE PIP
_______ PIN WHEN YOU OPEN THE ACCESS DOOR. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY.
(a) Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR.
(3) Set the switch 11LJ at zone 315 to the OFF position.
