Carefully pull the panel 112VU (1).

Remove the two screws (11) and disconnect the electrical connector (10).

Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(5)
Loosen the two screws (6) located on the knob (5), do not remove them.

Remove the knob (5).
(7)
Remove the two screws (4) and the placard (3).
(8)
Remove the nut (7) and the washer (8).

B. Removal of the Main Panel Flood Light Rheostat (35LE)
(1)
Loosen the two fasteners (13).
(2)
Carefully pull the panel 111VU (12).
(3)
Remove the two screws (22) and disconnect the electrical connector (21).
(4)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(5)
Loosen the two screws (17) located on the knob (16), do not remove them.
(6)
Remove the knob (16).
(7)
Remove the two screws (15) and the placard (14).
(8)
Remove the nut (18) and the washer (19).
(9)
Remove the rheostat (20).

A. Installation of the Pedestal Flood-Light Rheostat (28LE)
(1)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Install a new rheostat (9) through the hole of the panel 112VU (9).
(3)
Install the washer (8) and tighten the nut (7).
(4)
Put the placard (3) in position on the panel 112VU (1) and hold it in this position.
(5)
Attach the placard (3) with the two screws (4).
(6)
Install the knob (5). Be careful not to damage the flat of the axle of the rheostat (9).
(7)
Tighten the two screws (6).
(8)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(9)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Install the connector (10) and attach it with the two screws (11) on the back of the rheostat (9).

Install the panel 112VU (1) with the two fasteners (2). Subtask 33-12-17-420-051
B. Installation of the Main-Panel Flood-Light Rheostat (35LE)
(1)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

Install a new rheostat (20) through the hole of the panel 111VU (12).
(3)
Install the washer (19) and tighten the nut (18).
(4)
Put the placard (14) in position on the panel 111VU (12) and hold it in this position.
(5)
Attach the placard (14) with the two screws (15).
(6)
Install the knob (16). Be careful not to damage the flat of the axle of the rheostat (20).
(7)
Tighten the two screws (17).
