(a)
Push the MODE key.
(b)
Push the 2 key twice.
(c)
Push the ENTER key.
(d)
When OK? shows, push the YES key.
(e)
When CNTS 1 shows, read the sign and number that show to the right of CNTS 1.
(f)
Push the + key to get the counts for the other sensors (CNTS 2, CNTS 3, CNTS 4...).
(g)
Push the RESET key to stop this mode. (The WBC shows PROCESS ABORTED.)

H. Collect Data at Normal Strut Pressure (Figures 503 and 504)
NOTE: In the steps that follow, you will collect scales data for Figure
____ 503 and WBC data for Figure 504. Because the weighting value for the main landing gear sensors is zero for this data set (see Figure 503), it is necessary to collect data for the nose landing gear sensors only. If you are not doing the calibration for the nose landing gear at this time, measure the strut pressures for Figure 502, but do not collect the other data.
The instructions tell you to take three sets of samples. Although it is not mandatory to collect three sets of samples, it is recommended because three samples give the most accurate results.

(1)
Measure the inflation pressures of the four main landing gear shock struts and write the data in Figure 502:

(2)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
S 865-085
(3)
Make sure that persons inside the airplane do not move around when you read the scales or the WBC display.

S 975-028
(4) A minimum of 10 minutes after the airplane was moved onto the scales, collect the first set of samples:
NOTE: The time delay is necessary to let the struts, the weight and
____ balance system (WBS) and the scales become stable.
(a) Read the weight on each nose wheel from the scales and write the data in Figure 503, in the WHEEL WEIGHT, SAMPLE 1 column.
NOTE: Wheel weights must be recorded in pounds (lbs.).
____
(b) Read the counts for each load sensor (on the nose landing gear) with WBC mode-22 and write the data in Figure 504, in the SENSOR COUNTS, SAMPLE 1 column.
S 865-029
(5)
Stop for a minimum of one minute.
S 975-030
(6)
Collect the second set of samples:
(a)
Read the weight on each nose wheel from the scales and write the data in Figure 503, in the WHEEL WEIGHT, SAMPLE 2 column.
(b)
Read the counts for each load sensor (on the nose landing gear) with WBC mode-22 and write the data in Figure 504, in the SENSOR COUNTS, SAMPLE 2 column.
S 865-087
(7)
Stop for a minimum of one minute.
S 975-137
(8)
Collect the third set of samples:
(a)
Read the weight on each nose wheel from the scales and write the data in Figure 503, in the WHEEL WEIGHT, SAMPLE 3 column.
(b)
Read the counts for each load sensor (on the nose landing gear) with WBC mode-22 and write the data in Figure 504, in the SENSOR COUNTS, SAMPLE 3 column.
I. Collect Data at Low Wing Strut Pressure (Figures 505 and 506)
NOTE: In the steps that follow, you will decrease the shock strut
____ pressure of the wing landing gear. Then you will collect scales data for Figure 505 and WBC data for Figure 506.
