Make sure that the flash status is OK.

Push the SET switch again to start the flash erase procedure.
(l)
After several minutes, make sure that Pass (Reset) shows.

After the QAR does a reset procedure, make sure that OQAR Ready shows.

A removal of the optical disk from the quick access recorder (QAR).

A installation of the optical disk in the QAR.
B. Disk Removal

(1) Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
(a) On the P145 panel
1) 415L38 ACMS AC

(2) Do these steps to remove the optical disk from the Teledyne OQAR:
(a)
Open the door of the QAR.
(b)
Push the EJECT switch on the QAR.
NOTE: The display on the QAR shows Ejecting and then

Insert Disk.
(c)
Remove the disk and put it in a protective container.
(d)
Close the QAR door.
C. Disk Installation

1. General_______
A. The two tasks in this procedure are the removal and the installation of the Quick Access Recorder (QAR). The installation task includes an operational test of the QAR.
