2) When the correct span value shows, push the ENTER key. 3) When OK? shows, make sure the value is correct and then
push the YES key to go to the subsequent sensor. 4) Put in the span value for each load sensor.Put the load sensor offset values from your written record into the CM: 1) When OFF 1 shows, put in the offset value for load sensor 1
from your written record of calibration data. 2) Push the ENTER key. 3) When OK? shows, make sure the value is correct and then
push the YES key to go to the subsequent sensor. 4) Put in the offset value for each load sensor.Put the load sensor calibration resistances from your written record into the CM: 1) When CRES 1 shows, put in the resistance value for load
sensor 1 from your written record of calibration data. 2) Push the ENTER key. 3) When OK? shows, make sure the value is correct and then
push the YES key to go to the subsequent sensor. 4) Put in the resistance value for each load sensor.Put the pitch attitude sensor (PAS) value from your written record into the CM: 1) When ZERO PAS shows, put in the zero value for the pitch
attitude sensor from your written record of calibration
data. 2) Push the ENTER key. 3) When OK? PAS shows, make sure the value is correct and then
push the YES key. (The WBC then shows CAL IN PROGRESS and PROCESS COMPLETE for approximately 8 seconds each.)

MAIN LANDING GEAR LOAD SENSOR - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
_____________________________________________________
1. General_______
A. This procedure has four tasks for installation of the load sensors after replacement or overhaul of the wheel truck. The first task is installation of the protective covers and wire bundles. The second task is the installation of shims on the mounting lugs for the load sensors. The third task is the installation of the load sensors on the wheel truck. The forth task is the zero adjustment of the load sensors and the WBS calibration.
B. This procedure applies to all load sensors on the main landing gear. The main landing gear includes both the wing and body landing gear.
C. Each main landing gear has four load sensors. The load sensors are installed on the top of the mounting lugs on the wheel truck. The weight and balance system (WBS) has one weight and balance computer (WBC) that monitors each load sensor.
TASK 31-41-05-422-009
2. Protective Cover Installation (Fig. 201-203)_____________________________
A. General
(1)
The protective covers are installed on the main landing gear with clamps that surround the wheel truck. The protective covers are attached to the clamps by clips and blocks with nuts and washers.
(2)
The protective covers are installed on the wheel truck relative to the mounting lugs. Loosen the clamps to move the protective covers laterally. Loosen the clips and blocks to move the protective covers vertically.
(3)
Wire bundles for the load sensors are installed in the protective covers. Each wire bundle has a specified length and location. The wire bundles are attached to the protective covers by clamps.
