(b)
Make sure that there is no unwanted material between the cable guide assembly (3) and the rings of the in-axle mount.
(c)
Make sure that the electrical cables (5) are fully installed in the cable guide tubes (2) and that insulation does not come out of the slots in the tubes.
(d)
Carefully clean grease or other unwanted material from the in-axle mount rings.

(4) Install the sensor (Fig. 402):
CAUTION: DO NOT USE TOO MUCH FORCE WHEN YOU PUSH THE SENSOR
_______ ASSEMBLY INTO THE IN-AXLE MOUNT. TOO MUCH FORCE WILL MOVE THE IN-AXLE MOUNT RINGS OUT OF POSITION.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT STRETCH THE BELLOWS (15) OF THE SENSOR. DAMAGE TO THE SENSOR CAN OCCUR IF YOU STRETCH THE BELLOWS.
(a) Carefully put the sensor assembly into the axle.
NOTE: The electrical connector (4) must point outboard.

(b)
Make sure the pilot bushing (6, Fig. 403) of the inboard mounting adapter goes into the pilot hole (16, Fig. 402) of the inboard ring.
(c)
Make sure that the null adjustment cam (9) comes through the horizontal slot (14) in the outboard adapter.
(d)
Tighten the inboard mounting bolt (10) on the inboard mounting adapter until the pilot bushing is fully engaged.
(e)
Loosen the inboard mounting bolt (10) one full turn.
(f)
Install the outboard antirotation washer (6) with the outboard mounting bolt (7) on the outboard mounting adapter (8).
(g)
Tighten the outboard mounting bolt (7) by hand.
(h)
Tighten the outboard mounting bolt (7) to 60 |5 pound-inches.

(i)
Tighten the inboard mounting bolt (10) to 35 |5 pound-inches.
(j)
Connect the electrical cable (5) to the electrical connector
(4) of the sensor.
(k)
Install the nameplate to the top of the outboard ring (1).
(l)
In the table below, find the identification number of the sensor you replaced and make a record of the number.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P414 Power Distribution Center - Left
1) 414K20 WT & BAL
(b)
P415 Power Distribution Center - Right
1) 415G21 WBS CHB ALT
F. Automatic Zero Adjustment (Without Jacks, Mode 38)
NOTE: Use this adjustment procedure after replacement of only one load

sensor on the nose landing gear.
