 B.  The ULCs and the SCIDs are programmable. By using pin programming the ULC and the SCID cards can assume more than one identity based on their slot location in the MAWEA. For example, a ULC will behave as master monitor card A when installed in slot three, and as the crew alerting card when installed in slot seven. The card functions and types are:
