(2) S 154-200Use the paint stripper, TURCO 5351, to remove paint from the surface of each mounting lug that touches the load sensor.
(3) S 104-201Use solvent, BMS 11-7 to clean the surface of the mounting lug.
(4) S 424-192Install the load sensors. Installation procedure. Use the Main Landing Gear Load Sensor
NOTE:____ Do not do the zero adjustment on jacks (mode 99).
(5) S 704-193Do these steps to use mode 22 of the WBC to read the digital voltage count of each load sensor: (a) Open the keyboard cover on the front of the WBC. (b) Push the MODE key. (c) Use the keyboard to put in 22__ (d) Push the ENTER key. (e) When OK shows, push the ENTER key. (f) Push the + or - key until the identification number of the desired load sensor is displayed. (g) Record the digital voltage count of the selected load sensor. (h) Repeat the above steps for each remaining load sensor.
(6) S 704-194The recorded mode 22 digital voltage count for each selected load sensor shall be 26467 to 37717.
(7) S 424-196Do these steps to select shims to get the specified mode 22 count: (a) Remove the load sensor. Use the Main Landing Gear Load Sensor Removal procedure.
NOTE:____ Put the shim on the lug adjacent to the electrical plug on the load sensor to increase the digital voltage count; put the shim on the opposite lug to decrease the digital voltage count.
(b) (c) Use a 0.002-inch thick shim (284U4049-55) to change the voltage count by approximately 9000.Use a 0.003-inch thick shim (284U4049-49) to change the digital voltage count by approximately 13,500.
NOTE:____ Use no more than two shims for each pair of mounting lugs.
