(4) Do this test of the input from the BCUs:
(a)
Look at the BUS ACTIVITY STATUS display.
(b)
Make sure that these bits are set to 0:
1) For the BCU-1 bus: SDI 10, bit 24.
2) For the BCU-2 bus: SDI 10, bit 25.

(5) Do this test of the engine input from the EIUs:
(a)
Make sure that the four EEC MAINT switches on the overhead maintenance panel, P461, are in the NORM position.
(b)
Make sure that each bit is set to 1 on the BUS ACTIVITY STATUS display for each LRU in the table below.
(c)
Set the EEC MAINT switch for engine 4 to the TEST position.
(d)
Make sure that each bit is set to 0 for each LRU.
(e)
For one LRU at a time in the table below, open the applicable circuit breaker. 1) Make sure that the applicable bit changes to 1 when the
circuit breaker is open.
(f)
Close the applicable circuit breaker.

(6) Get access to the DITS DATA display on the CDU:
(a)
Push the line select key adjacent to <RETURN on the center CDU two times to show the main ACMS menu.
(b)
Push the line select key adjacent to <DATA DISPLAY.
(c)
Push the line select key adjacent to <DITS DATA.
(d)
Make sure that the DITS DATA display shows on the CDU.

(7) Do this test of the ACMS and DFDAC input from the EIUs:
(a)
For one bus at a time in the table below, use the CDU keypad to put in the applicable PT/LBL/SDI/F.
(b)
Push the first, second, third, or fourth line select key on the left.
(c)
Make sure that numbers show on the DITS DATA display adjacent to the line select key that you pushed.
(d)
Open the applicable circuit breaker shown in the table below.
(e)
Make sure that dashes (-----) show in place of the numbers.
(f)
Close the applicable circuit breaker.
