Use mode 38 of the weight and balance computer (WBC) to adjust the replaced sensor to zero:
(a)
Open the keyboard cover on the front of the WBC.
(b)
Push the MODE key.
(c)
Use the keyboard to put in 38.

(d)
Push the ENTER key.
(e)
When OK shows, push the YES key.
(f)
When 1A REPLACED shows, push the right or left arrow key until the identification number of the replaced sensor shows (The table below shows the sensor identification numbers).
NOTE: If ENGINE ON shows, the zero adjustment cannot be done
____ with mode 38. To use mode 38, the engines must be off and the EIU circuit breakers must be closed.

When OK? XXX REPLACED shows, make sure that the display shows the identification number of the replaced sensor. 1) If the sensor number (XXX) is correct, push the YES key.

2) If the sensor number (XXX) is not correct, push the NO key to start mode 38 again.
(i)
Make sure CAL IN PROGRESS shows momentarily.
(j)
Make sure PROCESS COMPLETE shows.

(4) Use WBC mode 26 to show the calibration resistance for the new sensor:
(a)
Push the MODE key.
(b)
Use the keyboard to put in 26.

(c)
Push the ENTER key.
(d)
When OK shows, push the YES key.
(e)
Push the + key until the identification number of the replaced sensor shows.
(f)
In the airplane log of weight and balance calibration data, make a record of the calibration resistance value that shows on the right side of the display.

(5) Use mode 21 to make sure that the zero adjustment was satisfactorily completed:
(a)
Push the MODE key.
(b)
Use the keyboard to put in 21.

(c)
Push the ENTER key.
(d)
When OK shows, push the YES key.
(e)
Push the + key until the identification number of the replaced sensor shows.
(f)
If the value shown is not between 21518 and 39518, do the Null Adjustment procedure.
(g)
If the correct value shows, close the WBC keyboard cover and do the procedure to put the airplane back to its usual condition.
G. Zero Adjustment on Jacks (Mode 99)
NOTE: Use this adjustment procedure after replacement of more than one

sensor on the nose landing gear.

Lift the nose landing gear fully off the ground on a jack (AMM 07-11-03/201).

Use modes 22 and 99 of the weight and balance computer (WBC) to adjust the replaced sensors to zero:
