FLIGHT DATA RECORDER SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. Three tasks are in this procedure. The first task is an operational test of the Flight Data Recorder System. The operational test includes a reference to the second task, the CMCS ground test. The third task is a system test.
B. The operational test and system test use the Central Maintenance Computer (CMC) functions on the Control Display Units (CDU). The operational test refers to the Ground Test function of the CMC. The system test uses the Input Monitoring function of the CMC. If you do not know how to use these CMC functions, refer to AMM 45-10-00/201.
C. When the letter X is shown in a hexadecimal value, all hexadecimal characters are permitted there.
D. The engines must be off to do these tests.
