 (5)  Collect the second set of samples:
 (a)  
Read the weight on each wheel from the scales and write the data in Figure 521, in the WHEEL WEIGHT, SAMPLE 2 column.

 (b)  
Read the counts for each load sensor with WBC mode 22 and write the data in Figure 522, in the SENSOR COUNTS, SAMPLE 2 column.

 (1) Calculate the wheel weight averages for Figures 517, 519, and 521:
 (a)  
Calculate the average of the three wheel weight samples for each wheel.

 (b)  
Write the results in the WHEEL WEIGHT, AVERAGE columns. (For the nose landing gear: Y = AVERAGE)


 NOTE: AVERAGE = (SAMPLE 1 + SAMPLE 2 + SAMPLE 3) / 3

 (1)  Calculate the sensor counts averages for Figures 518, 520, and 522:
 (a)  
Calculate the average of the three sensor counts samples for each sensor.

 (b)  
Write the results in the SENSOR COUNTS, AVERAGE columns.

 (2)  Calculate the delta counts for Figures 518, 520, and 522:
 (a)  For each nose landing gear sensor, subtract the ZERO (Figure 516) from the AVERAGE, and write the results in the column labeled X (DELTA COUNTS).
 NOTE: For the nose landing gear:
____ X = DELTA COUNTS = AVERAGE - ZERO
 L. Calculate Spans Values (Figure 523)

 (1)  For the nose landing gear, calculate the SENSOR SPAN for each sensor:
 (a)  
Refer to Figure 523 for the formula to calculate SENSOR SPAN (m).

 (b)  
For each axle, calculate products from the X, Y, and V values in each pair of figures (517 and 518, 519 and 520, 521 and 522) and then add the three products.

 (c)  
For example, to calculate the summation of XYV, add these products: 1) XYV from Figures 517 and 518 2) XYV from Figures 519 and 520 3) XYV from Figures 521 and 522


 M. Calculate Offset Values (Figure 524)

 (1)  For the nose landing gear, calculate the SENSOR OFFSET value for each sensor:
 (a)  Refer to Figure 524 for the formulas to calculate SENSOR OFFSET.
 N. Load Sensor Resistance Value (Mode-23) (Figure 525)

 (1)  Read the load sensor resistance with WBC mode-23 and write the data in Figure 525:
 (a)  
Push the MODE key.

 (b)  
Push the 2 key and then the 3 key.

 (c)  
Push the ENTER key.

 (d)  
When OK? shows, push the YES key.

 (e)  
Push the + key to get the RES 17F display.

 (f)  
When RES 17F shows, read the sign and number that show to the right of RES 17F and write them in Figure 525.
