R (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the electrical connector
R (4).
R (2) Push the tabs (1) of the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (2).
R (3) Remove the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (2) from its support.
R (4) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.

(1)
Install the SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (2) on the lining panel (7).
(2)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(3)
Connect the electrical connector (3) to the electrical receptacle (4).

A. Arming of the Emergency Escape Slide
(Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 52-73-21-991-003)
(1) Arm the escape slide of the emergency exit (7) as follows:
(a) With the wrench turn the head of the latch pin (6) a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin (6).
NOTE : The SLIDE ARMED (2) indicator-light comes on.

(b) Install and close the flap (5) on the emergency exit (7). NOTE : The SLIDE ARMED (2) indicator-light goes off.
