A. Get Access
(1)
Open the applicable cargo door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the door sill area.
(2)
Put the access platform in position for the applicable cargo door.
(3)
If required, remove the access panel(s) 825AR and/or 826AR to get access to the switch mechanism.

(1)
Open the applicable cargo door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the door sill area.
(2)

(1)
Remove the proximity sensor (23) as follows:
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector (21) from the proximity sensor (23).
(b)
Install blanking caps on the electrical connector (21) and the receptacle of the proximity sensor (23).
(c)
Remove the nuts (26), the washers (25), the bolts (22) and the proximity sensor (23) from the fuselage fitting (24).
(2)
Remove the target (31) as follows:
(a)
Remove the nuts (34), the washers (33) and the bolts (30) from the target lever (32).
(b)
Remove the target (31) from the target lever (32).
