R A. Removal of the Proximity Switch
R (Ref. Fig. 406/TASK 52-73-11-991-007)
R (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the proximity switch
R (2).
R (2) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
R (3) Remove and discard the lockwire.
R (4) Remove the nut (4) and the washer (3).
R (5) Remove the proximity switch (2).

_______ RESIDUAL PRESSURE COULD CAUSE THE DOOR TO OPEN WITH A SUDDEN FORCE AND INJURE PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE THE AIRCRAFT.

Put an access platform in position in front of the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841.

Open the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
