Clean the interface components and adjacent area with a lint-free cloth moist in CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) until contamination is removed. Do not let cleaning agent dry on the surfaces.
(4)
Wet install the fasteners with SEALANTS (Material No. 09-005).
(5)
If necessary, use oversize fasteners.

A. Replacement of the Central-Ramp Teflon Strip
NOTE : The LH side is described, the RH side is similar.

NOTE : This procedure is typical for all MLG doors.

(1)
Drill and remove the rivets (2) (Ref. ASRM 514211).
(2)
Remove the screws (1) from the central-ramp teflon strip (3).
(3)
Remome the old central-ramp teflon-strip (3) (Ref. ASRM 528114).
(4)
Remove the old sealant and adhesive from the interface parts with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(5)
Install the new central-ramp teflon-strip (3) in the ramp blister (Ref. ASRM 528114).
(6)
Install the screws (1) in the central-ramp teflon strip (3).
