R 3_ Door unlocked - Escape slide armed
R - The door symbol is displayed in amber,
R - The white SLIDE and the amber CABIN indications are

R In this configuration the following warnings are activated in

R - the MASTER CAUT lights come on,
R - the aural warning sounds in the cockpit.
R 4_ Door unlocked - Escape slide disarmed
R - The door symbol is displayed in amber,
R - The amber "-----" and CABIN indications are displayed near

R (b) If the doors are opened in an emergency, the SLIDE ARMED
R indicator lights are on, but they must cause no disturbance to
R passengers.

**ON A/C ALL
(1) When the cabin pressure is more than 2.5 mb, with one of the 2 engines or the 2 engines shut down and slides disarmed, the CABIN PRESSURE warning light panels flash. In case of emergency escape, the slide armed data prevent the CABIN PRESSURE warning-light panels from flashing. This avoids any risk of panic among the passengers. In the cockpit, an amber symbol appears on the ECAM lower display unit, which identifies the open door.
