Remove the switch actuation mechanism as follows:
(a)
Remove the safety ring (24), the washer (23) and the pin (20) to disconnect the connection rod (14) from the link (21).
(b)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (16) from the pin (18).
(c)
Remove the the pin (18) and the washer (17) to disconnect the segment assy (15) from the structure.
(d)
If necessary, disassemble the connection rod (14) from the segment assy (15).

A. Installation of Proximity Switches 59WV1, 59WV2, 61WV1 and 61WV2

(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

Install the switch actuation mechanism as follows:
(a)
If necssary, assemble the connection rod (14) to the segment assy (15).
(b)
Put the segment assy (15) in position at the fuselage structure.
(c)
Install the pin (18) and the washer (17) to attach the segment assy (15).
(d)
Safety the pin (18) with a new cotter pin (16).
(e)
Put the eye-end of the connection rod (14) in position at the link (21) and attach it with the washer (23) and the pin (20).
(f)
Safety the pin (20) with the safety ring (24).
(5)
Install the switch bracket (3) as follows:
(a)
Put the switch bracket (3) in position and attach it with the screws (8), the washers (11) and the nuts (12).
(b)
Put the link (21) in position at the switch bracket (3).
(c)
Install the pin (19) and the washer (6) to connect the link (21) with the switch bracket (3).
