B. Arming of the Escape Slide of the Emergency Exits
(Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 52-73-11-991-003)
(1) Arm the escape slide of the emergency exits (9) as follows:
(a) With a wrench, turn the head of the latch pin (8), a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin (8).
NOTE : The white SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (10) comes on.

(b) Install and close the flaps (7) on the emergency exits (9). NOTE : The white SLIDE ARMED indicator-light (10) goes off.

C. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).

D. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
