Examine the overpressure release door (2) for damage. Replace the door if necessary.

Examine the tension springs, the support, the connecting link and the spring connecting link for damage or wear. Replace the items if necessary.

Examine the hinge for damage or wear. Replace the hinge if necessary.

A. Removal of the Overpressure Release Door
R (1) Loosen the nut (1) to release the pre-tension of the springs (6).
R (2) Disconnect the connection link (13) from the overpressure release
R door (18) as follows:
R
R (a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (9) from the pin (7) and
R collect the washer (8).
R
R (b) Remove the pin (7) from the door bracket (12) and disconnect the
R the connection link (13) from the door bracket (12).
R (3) Remove the nut (23), the washer (24), the bolt (26) and the bonding
R strap (27) from the bonding angle (25) of the door bracket (19).
R
R (4) Remove the overpressure release door (18) as follows:
R (a) Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21) to disconnect the
R door bracket (19) from the fuselage hinge bracket (20).
R (b) Disassemble the overpressure release door (18) from the fuselage
R opening.
R (5) If necessary, disassemble the spring linkage as follows:
R
R (a) Remove the nut (1) and the washer (2) from the spring retainer
R (3) and disassemble it from the support bracket (23).
