 (b) (c) (d) (e)  1) Do the task to adjust the sensor (3), if it is necessary.If it is necessary, cut the sensor wires to the correct length.Install new terminal lugs (8) on the sensor wire ends.Connect the sensor wires to the terminal strip with the washer (7), lockwasher (6), and nut (5).Do a check of the terminals and the wire color for the correct electrical connections.

 (5)  Open this circuit breaker on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P7 and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: (a) 7F23, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT ALTN (alternate sensor) (b) 7F22, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT PRI (primary sensor)

 (6)  Continue the installation procedure:
 CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE YOU SEAL THE ELECTRICAL TERMINALS. IF YOU DO NOT SEAL THE TERMINALS, CONTAMINATION CAN GO INTO THE JUNCTION BOXES AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SENSORS.
 (a)  Seal the electrical terminals: 1) Clean the surface of the terminals with the solvent. 2) Apply a thin layer of the primer on the surface of the terminals and let the primer dry. 3) Apply the sealant on the surface of the terminals with a short bristle brush.
 (b) (c) (d)  Tighten the conduit nut (4) to the sensor (3) by hand.Install a lockwire on the conduit nut.Install the junction box cover (J18, left gear; J21, right gear).
