(1) Make sure that the ground locks for the landing gear are installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).

(2) Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

For the removal of the alternate sensor, open this circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Remove the Door Warning Sensor (Fig. 201).

(1)
Disconnect the sensor wires:
(a)
Remove the cover from the junction box (J23 LH, J24 RH).
(b)
Remove sealant (potting) material from the electrical terminals with the plastic scraper.
(c)
Make a record of the connection of the wires at the terminal strip.
NOTE: This will help you during the installation.

(d)
Disconnect the sensor wires from the terminal strip.
(e)
Remove the terminal lugs from the wires.
(f)
Attach a line to end of the sensor wires.
NOTE: You will use this line to pull the sensor wires through
____ the conduit during the installation. Make sure the line is longer than the length of the conduit.
