 (5)  Do a test of the tilt sensors for the left and right body gear:
 NOTE: When the targets for the sensors are far, or a deactuator is
____ installed on the sensor, this will cause a ground mode indication.
 (a)  
Put an actuator on the sensor, S419 (left body gear tilt sensor).

 (b)  
Remove the actuator from the sensor, S418 (right body gear tilt sensor).

 (c)  
Make sure the CDU display of label 270/00 is shown as follows:

 (g)  
Put an actuator on these sensors:
 1) S419, left body gear tilt (primary)
 2) S416, right wing gear tilt (primary)
 3) S418, right body gear tilt (primary)


 (h)  
Make sure that you can move the landing gear lever from the DN to the UP position without the lock override.

 (i)  
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.

 (j)  
Remove the actuators from sensors:
 1) S417, left wing gear tilt
 2) S419, left body gear tilt
 3) S416, right Wing gear tilt
 4) S418, right body gear tilt

Do a Test of the Alternate Tilt Position Sensors and the Gear Lever Switch (Fig. 502)
