Remove the sensor:
(a)
Remove the sensor mounting screws.
(b)
Remove the sensor and pull the sensor wires from the conduit. 1) Do not pull the line out of the conduit.

Install the Door Warning Sensors (Fig. 201)

(1)
Install the sensor:
(a)
Twist the sensor wires together.
(b)
Attach the line that you kept in the conduit (dring the removal) to the sensor wires.
(c)
Carefully pull the sensor wires through the conduit.
(d)
Install the sensor with the mounting screws.
NOTE: A correctly installed sensor will give you the
____ clearance shown on Fig. 201. The clearance adjustment is usually not necessary. You must do a check of the clearance if the sensor mounting support is moved, if the the door is replaced, or if the doorstop is adjusted.
(e) Make sure you install the screw head on the sensor side.

(f) Cut the sensor wires to the correct length and install terminal
lugs.
(g) Connect the sensor wires to the terminal strip.
1) Make sure the terminals are connected correctly.
NOTE:____ Use the colors of the wires.
CAUTION: IF YOU DO NOT SEAL THE ELECTRICAL TERMINALS CORRECTLY, YOU
_______ CAN HAVE SHORTED OR BURNED OUT SWITCHES CAUSED BY UNWATNED MATERIALS THAT GO INTO THE JUNCTION BOXES.
(h) Seal the electrical terminals: 1) Clean the bare surface of the terminals with the solvent. 2) Apply a thin layer of the primer on bare surfaces of the
terminals. a) Let the primer dry. 3) Apply the sealant on the terminals with a short bristle brush.

(2) Install the junction box cover.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Remove the system No. 1 and 4 hydraulic pressure (AMM 29-11-00/201).
