Test of the Door Warning Sensors
(6)
Alternate Test of the Landing Gear Position Indication and Door Warning Sensors
(a)
It is necessary for the airplane to be on jacks for this task, so that the gear can be extended and retracted.
(b)
This task lets you examine the logic condition of related landing gear and door sensors simultaneously with the CMCS.
(c)
This task can be done instead of the tasks that follow: 1) Test of the Tilt Position Sensors and the Gear Lever Switch 2) Test of Landing Gear Position Indication 3) Test of the Door Warning Sensors
B.
These tests can be done individually or as one complete test. The removal/installation procedures for the sensors have the operational tests at the sensor level.

2. Ground Test - PSEU Primary and Alternate Landing Gear Systems_____________________________________________________________
A. General
(1)
This test looks for sensor input failures for the primary and alternate indication systems for the landing gear of the PSEU. The ground test also does a check of the electronics in the PSEU for these subsystems of the PSEU.
(2)
To do a ground test for the PSEU, refer to AMM 32-09-03/501.

There is a simple gear swing and EICAS message test in AMM 32-32-00/501. This test will do a simple function check of the landing gear system. If you do not need to test the sensor status to the bit level then you may want to do this quick test: AMM 32-32-00/501, Gear Swing.
