Do this task: Prepare the Safety-Sensitive Systems for Air Mode Simulation (Ref 32-09-02/201).

For removal of the alternate sensor, open this circuit breaker on the Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel, P7 and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Remove the Uplock Sensor (Fig. 201)
(1)
Remove the cover from the junction box (J19 LH, J20 RH).

Disconnect the sensor wires as follows:
(a)
Remove the sealant (potting) material from the electrical terminals with the plastic scraper.

(b) Make a record of the connection of the wires at the terminal strip.
NOTE: This will help you during the installation of the new

wires.
(c)
Disconnect the sensor wires from the terminal strip.
(d)
Carefully remove the terminal lugs (8) from wires.
(e)
Attach a line to the ends of the sensor wires to help you during the installion of the sensor wires.
NOTE: Make sure the line is longer than the length of the
____
conduit.

Remove the uplock sensor (1) as follows:
(a)
Remove the conduit nut (3).
(b)
Remove the sensor mounting nut (2).
(c)
Remove the sensor (1).
(d)
Carefully pull the sensor wires from the conduit.
NOTE: Do not pull the line out of the conduit.
