WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING GEAR.
_______ AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure you install the ground locks for the main landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Make sure you install the main gear door locks (AMM 32-00-30/201).

(4) Lift the airplane on jacks until all the wheels are clear of the ground (AMM 07-11-01/201).

_______ SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED. MAKE SURE PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE TRUCK PATH.

Supply power to the No. 4 hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Adjust the Truck Tilt Sensor

(1)
Measure the clearance between the sensor and the target with the truck in the tilted position.
(a)
Compare the clearance that you found to the clearance that is shown on Fig. 201.

(2) Remove hydraulic power from the No. 4 hydraulic system
(AMM 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION:_______DO NOT REMOVE THE TARGET BRACKET TO ADJUST THE TARGET SHIM. IT IS NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL THE BRACKET ACCURATELY AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ADJUST THE CLEARANCE CORRECTLY.
(3)
Adjust the sensor clearance:
(a)
Use an axle jack to move the truck to the not tilted position (AMM 07-11-03/201).
NOTE: This will give you access to the target.

(b)
Remove the sensor from the support bracket.
(c)
Install new shims or remove the laminations from the shim as necessary to get the correct clearance.
(d)
Install the sensor on the support bracket.
(e)
Tighten the sensor support hardware.
(f)
Lower the axle jack to let the truck move to the tilted position.
