Right body gear
 1) Electrical connector DX404 of the left actuator
 2) Electrical connector DX403 of the right actuator.

Remove the clamps, the electrical connector shield, and the hydraulic bracket from actuators (Fig. 401).

 (a)  
Loosen the clamps A (2) and B (3) at the turnbuckles.

 (b)  
Remove the nuts (4) from each bolt (8) on clamp A (2).

 (c)  
Remove the nuts (5) from each bolt (12) on clamp B (3).

 (d)  
Remove the electrical connector shield (1) from the clamps.

 (e)  
Remove clamp A (2) from the actuator.

 (f)  
Make sure to keep the clips (6), the blocks (7), and the bolts (8) that are from the floating stud assemblies.

 (g)  
Loosen the clamp C (14) at the turnbuckle.

 (h)  
Remove the nuts (17) from the bolts (20) on the clamps B (3) and C (14).

 (i)  
Pull the hydraulic bracket (13) from the bolts (20) and move until it is clear.

 (j)  
Remove the clamps B (3) and C (14).

 (k)  
Make sure to keep the spacers (10), the washers (11), the clips (6 and 18), the blocks (7 and 19), and the bolts (12 and 20) that are from the floating stud assemblies.

 (l)  
Loosen the clamp D (16) at the turnbuckle.

 (m)  
Remove the nuts (17) from the bolts (23) on the clamps D (16).

 (n)  
Remove the bumper (15) from the clamp D (16).

 (o)  
Remove the clamps D (16) and make sure to keep the spacers (22), the clips (18), the blocks (19), and the bolts (23).

Remove the bolt (6) and pull the hydraulic clamp and the trapeze (8) that contain the hydraulic hoses to one side (Fig. 402)

Remove the Steering Actuators and Yoke Assembly

 (1)
Remove the steering actuators and the yoke assembly (Fig. 402).

 (a)  
Remove the lockbolt (26), the nut (27), and the splined washer (30).

 (b)  
Pull the apex pin (17) and move out the nylon alignment washers (18).

 (c)  
Put an applicable pad between the torsion link and the truck and attach the torsion link to the truck with tape.

 (d)  
Remove the lockbolt (21), the nut (20), the collar (24), and the apex spindle (19).

 (e)  
Remove the lockbolts (33), the nuts (34), and the tang washers (37).

 (f)  
Pull the bolts (13), hold the actuators (31, and 32) to decrease the load on the bolts and remove the actuators from the yoke (43).

 (g)  
Remove the lockbolt (41), loosen the nut (40) and move the splined washer (42) from the end of the pin (16).

 (h)  
Hold the yoke (43) to decrease the load, remove the pin (16) from the shock strut and remove the yoke.

 (1)  The table that follows contains port/label and bit data. This information is necessary when you do a test of the lock switches for the steering system of the body landing gear.
