C. Prepare for the Removal

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCKS AND THE STEERING LOCKOUT PIN ARE
_______ INSTALLED ON THE NOSE GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR OR TURN OF THE NOSE WHEEL CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure the ground locks and steering lockout pin are installed on the nose gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOOR LOCKS ARE INSTALLED ON THE NOSE GEAR DOORS.
_______ FAST MOVEMENT OF THE DOORS FOR THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2)
Install the door locks for the nose gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the Squat Sensor Target

(1)
Do these steps to remove the squat sensor target:
(a)
Remove the two bolts and the nuts that hold the bracket assembly to the upper torsion link.
(b)
Remove the squat sensor target from the airplane.
