 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE STEERING LOCKOUT PIN. THE NOSE WHEEL CAN ACCIDENTALLY TURN AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2) Make sure the steering lockout pin is installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).

 WARNING:_______OBEY THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR THE DOOR LOCKS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY. THE MOVEMENT OF THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (3)  Install the door lock on the nose gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO PUT THE
_______ AIR/GROUND RELAY SYSTEM IN THE AIR MODE. A FAILURE TO DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY CAN CAUSE THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF AIRPLANE SYSTEMS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (4)  
Prepare the airplane for the air mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).

For adjustment of the alternate sensor, open this circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

For adjustment of the primary sensor, open this circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Adjust the Lock Sensor

 (1)  
Make sure the distance between the sensor (2) and target is correct.

 (2)  
If the clearance is less than shown in Fig./201, remove laminations from the shim (3) to adjust the clearance:

 (a)  
Remove the sensor (2), nuts (6), bolts (1), and washers (5).

 (b)  
Remove the shim (3).

 (c)  
Remove laminations from the shim (3) to adjust the clearance.

 (d)  
Bond the shim (3) to the bracket assembly (4).

 (e)  Install the sensor (2) with bolts (1), washers (5), and nuts (6).

 (3)  
If the clearance is more than shown in Fig./201 replace the shim (3):

 (a)  
Remove the sensor (2), nuts (6), bolts (2), and washers (5).

 (b)  
Remove the shim (3) and replace it with a thicker shim.

 (c)  
Remove laminations from the shim (3) to adjust the clearance.

 (d)  
Bond the shim (3) to the bracket assembly (4).

 (e)  
Install the sensor (2) with bolts (1), washers (5), and nuts (6).

 CAUTION: A DAMAGED SHEAR PIN MUST BE REPLACED WITH A PIN THAT HAS THE
_______ SAME PART NUMBER. THIS IS TO MAKE SURE THE PIN WILL BREAK WHEN AN EMERGENCY OCCURS. WHEN THE PIN BREAKS, THE NOSE GEAR WILL LOCK IN THE DOWN POSITION.
 (4)  
If you cannot get the correct clearance because of a damaged shear pin (8), replace the shear pin.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the applicable circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel:

 (a)  
7F23, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT ALTN

 (b)  
7F22, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT PRI

Put the airplane back to the ground mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).

 (7)  
Do the ground test for the PSEU Landing Gear Systems (AMM 32-61-00/501).
