_______ INSTALLED ON THE NOSE GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR OR TURN OF THE NOSE WHEEL CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure the ground locks and steering lockout pin are installed on the nose gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Install the door locks for the nose gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Push the PREVIOUS PAGE key or the NEXT PAGE key as necessary to show the logic condition that follows:

For the Primary Up Sensor (S396): Label 271/00

For the Alternate Up Sensor (S411): Label 273/00.
(b)
Make sure the CDU display for the label 271/00 or 273/00 is shown as follows (Fig. 202): 1) NOSE GEAR UP/LOCK on Bit 19 - Bit State 0
(c)
Put the actuator on the applicable sensor, S396 (Primary Up Sensor) or S411 (Alternate Up Sensor) to simulate an up position.
(d)
Make sure the CDU display for the label 271/00 or 273/00 is shown as follows (Fig. 202): 1) NOSE GEAR UP/LOCK on Bit 19 - Bit State 1
(e)
Remove the actuator from the sensor, S396 (Primary Up Sensor) or S411 (Alternate Up Sensor).
(f)
Push the line-select key, adjacent to the <RETURN display until the CDU MENU shown.

Put the Airplane in Its Usual Condition
