7. Alternate Test of the Landing Gear Position Indication and Door Warning_______________________________________________________________________ Sensors_______
A. General
(1)
The position indication test makes sure that each gear, door, and gear lever position sensor sends the correct position indication signal to the PSEU.
(2)
It is necessary for the airplane to be on jacks so the landing gear can be retracted and extended.
(3)
This task can be done instead of the tasks that follow:
(a)
Test of the Tilt Position Sensors and the Gear Lever Switch
(b)
Test of Landing Gear Position Indication
(c)
Test of the Door Warning Sensors
